MyDVD® Studio 6.1 Adds Integrated Support for TiVoToGo™, Allowing Transfer, Viewing, and DVD/CD Burning of Recorded Shows from a TiVo® Box
Sonic Solutions (NASDAQ:SNIC), the leader in digital media software, today launched MyDVD Studio 6.1, the world’s first line of TiVo® service-enabled DVD creation solutions for the PC. Shipping this month, the new version of Sonic’s award-winning MyDVD software is optimized for seamless integration with the TiVoToGo™ service enhancement from TiVo (NASDAQ: TIVO) Inc., the creator of and leader in television services for digital video recorders (DVRs). The combined Sonic and TiVo technologies, being demonstrated by the two companies at CES, will for the first time allow TiVo subscribers to use their PCs to transfer, view, and burn to disc (DVD-Video or Video CD) the shows they record on their home-networked TiVo boxes.
