TiVo army finally marching into Canada

OTTAWA — It’s finally here. After years of changing the way Americans watch television, TiVo has quietly sneaked across the Canadian border. But the California company, which makes the wildly popular digital recording technology that has won a legion of converts in the United States, is tight-lipped about its foray into Canada.

Not much new on the Canadian expansion really, but it is good to see it getting some notice and the general coverage of TiVo is good.

    As a proud owner of a working, un-hacked TiVo I can say that despite the occasional screwed-up channel change attempt I’m really loving my TiVo.

    I’ll be happy when I see it in my local Walmart.
