Summary of TiVo’s new pricing

E. Stephen Mack, Director of Service Operations at TiVo, has posted a summary of TiVo’s new pricing plans at TiVoCommunity.com

Nothing new from what has been posted here so far, but that’s an semi-official FAQ that might make folks more comfortable with the details.

    Well, it won’t affect me until the series 3 comes out, I suppose. That or if my Series 2 dies.

    Still, I’m saddened. I was all about the lifetime fee. I guess I’ve had my Series 2 now for four years…It was definitely worth it.

    I just went to best buys website
    they are still selling lifetime subscriptions. What’s that about?

    Sorta related to Tivo new pricing.

    The new pricing hasn’t gone into effect yet.

    It’s funny Tivo doesnt even have a Due date on their site. At least one easy to find. All seem to be rumors etc. Some post say today is the last day others say Wednesday. I was really thinking of buying another box, but I figure just get the one I have upgraded and repaired as needed.
