No, it isn’t another TiVoCast channel, but close. The site E-Gear has started using One True Media to distribute their videos to TiVo users. Simply go into “Music, Photos, Products, & More” from TiVo Central, select “Home Movies by One True Media”, and then enter the code 8371-4606-9010-9393.
I speculated on sites doing this back when OTM was launched on TiVo, but it seems to be against the Terms of Use, so this might get shut down. One of the first things in the Terms is:
The Service is for personal use only; use of the Service for commercial use or for broadcast or distribution to persons outside of a normal circle of a family and its social acquaintances is expressly prohibited.
Which I still think is too bad, because I think this would be a great way for people to easily distribute video blogs to TiVo users.
