Only moments ago, in an attempt to get in a Summer Games sort of mood (Summer Olympics in Beijing commences August 8!), I searched for my favorite Mary Lou Retton moment on… where else? YouTube™ on TiVo!

That’s right—I felt like a gold-medal winner myself, beckoning Mary into my 21st century living room, using just my TiVo remote, and watching her nail perfect 10s on the balance beam, on the vaults and on the floor.

If you haven’t tried YouTube™ on TiVo yet, what are you waiting for? You can browse Top Favorites, Most Viewed, or Top Rated—and you can view videos uploaded today, this week, in the past 30 days, or the most-viewed all time. Personally, I prefer the thrill of a random “Search,” and am getting a real kick out of couchtime in the living room, giving everyone a turn at the remote to share their favorite YouTube™ video of the week. Categorized by sport, the Guide also makes it easy to find programming related to the Game ceremonies—or if you’re an intellectual sports fan, programs on the history of the games.
