I admit this is only tangentially gizmo related, though the Space Shuttle is one hell of a gizmo. But this was just too good not to share, and I thought my audience would appreciate it too.
Chris Bray and his father were there on April 12, 1981 for the launch of STS-1, and they took a photo.
30 years later they were back for the launch of STS-135 on July 8, 2011. And they recreated the photo.
