They have 40GB Philips Series1 units with product lifetime for $199.99, for 80GB or 120GB add $19 or $39, respectively. Or 40GB Sony SVR-2000 Series1 units are going for $249.99 with the same 80GB/$19 or 120GB/$39 upgrade options.

They also have 40GB TiVo Series2 units for $299.99, with upgrades to 80GB, 500GB, or 1TB for $19, $99, or $149, respectively. All of these units are refurbished. Shipping is free on all units, and they come with a six month warranty. Note that product lifetime service alone is $499.99 for new subscribers, and $399.99 for subscribers adding an additional unit to an existing account. So this is a cheap way to get lifetime if these units meet your needs.

    That would be a great deal for a TiVo that may be used in a guest room or kids room.

    In the main room I would need a Series3 or later unit but for a guest room the one time price would be a great way to go.
