Up until now Netflix support on Android has been spotty at best. Only a limited number of devices have been supported, at least without hacks. All of that changed today as Netflix opened the floodgates by releasing support for all Android 2.2 Froyo and 2.3 Gingerbread devices. That’s the vast majority of Android devices, 82.5% to be precise. 1.4% are running Android 3.x Honeycomb, while the rest are running versions 2.1 or earlier.
Of course, the Netflix App is currently really only good in the US and Canada, but they are expanding into other countries.
