OK, it isn’t as catchy as “Every time a bell rings, and angel gets his wings”, but work with me here. TiVo is running an interesting charitable promotion. For every recording of the classic holiday film “It’s A Wonderful Life” on NBC on Saturday, December 24th at 8pm ET/7pm CT TiVo will donate one dollar to Toys for Tots. It is a little to far out to provide a link to the film on TiVo’s website to set the recording or I’d do so. This is a pretty simple thing to do, and it is a pretty good film (which you’ve probably seen before, of course), so set your recording and let’s see how much we can get TiVo to donate.
TiVo announced this charitable promotion on their blog and via press release on Monday.
